Candice Diaz, Brad Fields and Gabby Barrett

Candice Diaz is in prison for the murder of Gabby Barrett. They were and sentenced to 30-60 years in prison in the state of Michigan. Brad Fields was also convicted in her death.

The child was found inside their Sumpter Township mobile home burned and beaten on New Year's Day of 2018. According to click on detroit (see links), Gabby's injuries were horrific. She was beaten, her hair was ripped from her scalp and her body was burned in scalding water.

John Melvin White and Michael Lara

Status: Incarcerated John Melvin White is in prison for the murder of Michael Lara. They were Child abuse, first degree murder and sentenced to life in the state of Colorado.  According to DP White was dating Mikey’s mother at the time, babysitting the boy while his mom was at work. He claimed the family’s dog knocked the boy down the mobile home’s porch steps, leading to injuries. Medical exams revealed severe trauma, which couldn’t be associated with a fall, prosecutors said. Toxicology reports showed White was on methamphetamine while babysitting Mikey.
